Well we have finally gotten to the point to see some paint. I have been hard at work sandblasting, welding, cutting and etc. Its not like you can see the many hours of sweat here but if you have ever done anything like this you can get the picture. I've picked up some good tools on the way that I should mention. I got a sandblasting cabinet for $100. Really good investment...makes the cleanup a snap! Oh and many nice sanders and the grinder with the wire wheel attachment. Gotta love that! Makes short work of nasty stuck on crap and rust! Let's see what else... Oh yeah been stocking up on odds and ends new parts, basically anything that I can get my hands on that is new! You shall see those installed sooner than later I hope. I'd mention the supplier but well not getting any special deals so why do them any favors? My next steps are to take my stock check and turn it into a 9 bolt Ford or 12 bolt chevy rear end...all depends on which is cheaper. Convert to disc brakes on it as well. Then sandblast the front subframe, get it painted and installed. Oh yeah gotta get a 4 point roll cage and get it installed for support. Then install the subframe connectors I already have. Well and oh yeah, duh!, get the damn rear clip welded back on! That sucker is the bain of my existance! Once that's all done it will be more cleanup/painting on the front end parts and get those installed and then I'll be able to get it back on its own 4 feet! Well nuff said onto the pictures!
