- The Front
Hood's in good shape so is the front plastic. Got replacement shaker for $40!
- Right Front
Minus some minor dents this is a reproduction fitted fairly recently with a lovely coat of crappy gold spray can! :)
- Left Front
Shot! Behind wheel is rustomatic...got replacement for $65 off a white one.
- Right Side
A better shot of the lovely spray can job. Hire that man! Just kidding...but it is kinda funny.
- Right Side Rear
This quarter was replaced some time ago. They cut below the window and 'spliced' in a replacement quarter. They then
proceeded to put on about 40 pounds of bondo up the roof across the entire door and down the whole quarter. A close up look
reveals cracks as big as the grandcanyon due to the thickness of the bondo. And who says it not's mans best friend!
- Left Side Front of Tire
Another rustomatic shot.
- Left Side Back of Tire
Another rustomatic shot.
- Clean Engine Shot
Uh someone get the degreaser! Pontiac 400 with 6X heads if your interested...hey and it ran...well a few blocks till the carb
poured gas literally all over the place in Houston and I decided to get a trailer from the friendly UHaul place. Took 3 places but I got one!
You can notice the bad shaker chunk missing here.
- Engine Pull
With the front end gone the tired beast is about to go! That's my buddy Brian's puller BTW...brand new 1 year old first use!
- New (ok so not new) rear clip
I spent a day with Brian cutting the inner seating metal out b/t the quarters and the rear light panel. So much rust on the original
quarter that I'll be replacing some brackets on the right side trunk as well as the entire back trunk drop. Thanks to the clip it all came
failry clean. Look at the holes where I drilled like a mad man to remove the spot welds. Got that entire clip for $100 if you can believe that!!! Thanks Jeff! Email me if you want his contact info...
